The people of Noah also rejected the messengers. 105 When their brother Nuh said to them: Will you not guard (against evil)? 106 Surely I am a faithful apostle to you; 107 be, then, conscious of God, and pay heed unto me! 108 I ask no recompense of you for it. My reward is due from none but the Lord of all the worlds. 109 So fear Allah and obey me." 110 ۞ They said: "Shall we believe in you, when the meanest (of the people) follow you?" 111 Noah said: "What knowledge do I have about their deeds? 112 Their reckoning is upon my Lord, if ye but knew. 113 And I am not (here) to repulse believers. 114 I am nothing but a plain warner." 115 They said, “O Nooh, if you do not desist you will surely be stoned.” 116 Then Noah said, "Lord, my people have rejected me. 117 Therefor judge Thou between us, a (conclusive) judgment, and save me and those believers who are with me. 118 We saved him and those who were with him in a fully laden Ark, 119 Then We drowned the rest thereafter. 120 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
