Al-A 'araaf 8 of 24

We sent forth Noah to his nation. He said: 'Worship Allah, my people for you have no god except He. I fear for you the punishment of a great Day.' 59 The elders of his people replied: "We see clearly that you have gone astray." 60 He said: 'O my people! There is no error in me, but I am a Messenger from the Lord of the universe. 61 "I but fulfil towards you the duties of my Lord's mission: Sincere is my advice to you, and I know from Allah something that ye know not. 62 “And are you surprised that an advice came to you from your Lord through a man amongst you, so that he may warn you and that you may fear, and so that there be mercy upon you?” 63 (But) they belied him, so We saved him and those who were with him in the Ark, and We drowned those who belied Our verses. Surely, they were a blind nation. 64
