"Truly! The Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - see V. 2:2) will be amidst Gardens and water-springs (Paradise). 45 They will be told: "Enter it in peace and security." 46 And We will root out whatever of rancor is in their breasts-- (they shall be) as brethren, on raised couches, face to face. 47 Neither any hardship is to reach them in it, nor are they to be expelled from it. 48 ۞ Inform My servants that I am the Forgiving, the Merciful, 49 And that My punishment-- that is the painful punishment. 50 And tell them of the guests of Abraham, 51 When they entered his presence and said, "Peace!" He said, "We feel afraid of you!" 52 [The angels] said, "Fear not. Indeed, we give you good tidings of a learned boy." 53 He said, “Do you convey to me the glad tidings upon old age reaching me? So upon what do you convey glad tidings?” (* Prophet Ibrahim said this out of surprise.) 54 They said, “We have given you true tidings, therefore do not lose hope.” 55 [Ibrahim (Abraham)] said: "And who despairs of the Mercy of his Lord except those who are astray?" 56 Abraham said: "What then is the business on which ye (have come), O ye messengers (of Allah)?" 57 They said, "We are sent to a sinful people. 58 All except the household of Lut; surely we are going to deliver all of them. 59 except his wife (about whom Allah says that) We have decreed that she shall be among those who stay behind." 60

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
