Seest thou not that We have set the devils on the disbelievers to confound them with confusion? 83 (Muhammad), exercise patience; We have given them respite only for an appointed time. 84 On the Day when We shall gather the Godconscious unto [Us,] the Most Gracious, as honoured guests, 85 and drive the evildoers into Gehenna herding, 86 None will have power to intercede for them except one who obtains a promise from Ar-Rahman. 87 They say: "God has begotten a son." 88 Assuredly, you have uttered a monstrous falsehood: 89 The heavens may almost be rent thereat, and the earth cleave asunder, and the mountains fall down in pieces, 90 to ascribe a son to the Beneficent God. 91 It does not befit the Most Compassionate Lord that He should take a son. 92 There is no one in the heavens and the earth but will come to the Beneficent Allah as a servant. 93 He has counted them and calculated their number. 94 And all of them are coming to Him on the Day of Resurrection alone. 95 Lo! those who believe and do good works, the Beneficent will appoint for them love. 96 And We make (this Scripture) easy in thy tongue, (O Muhammad) only that thou mayst bear good tidings therewith unto those who ward off (evil), and warn therewith the froward folk. 97 How many generations have We laid low before them. Do you see any sign of them, or hear the least whisper of them? 98
