Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
40 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah) before The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ I do call to witness the Resurrection Day; 1 Nay, I swear by the accusing soul (that this Scripture is true). 2 Does man think that We shall not gather his bones? 3 Surely We are able to reform even his finger-tips. 4 In fact, people want to have eternal life in this world. 5 He asks, "When is the Day of Resurrection?" 6 But [on that Day,] when the eyesight is by fear confounded, 7 The moon eclipsed, 8 And sun and moon are united, 9 on that Day will man exclaim "Whither to flee?" 10 Certainly not! There will be no place of refuge. 11 On that day, the station is only towards your Lord. 12 On that Day, man will be told of all that he has sent before and what he has left behind. 13 He shall be a clear proof against himself, 14 Even though he were to put up his excuses. 15 (O Prophet), do not stir your tongue hastily (to commit the Revelation to memory). 16 for, behold, it is for Us to gather it [in thy heart,] and to cause it to be read [as it ought to be read]. 17 And when We have recited it to you [O Muhammad SAW through Jibrael (Gabriel)], then follow you its (the Quran's) recital. 18 We shall be responsible for its explanation. 19 Nay, (ye men!) but ye love the fleeting life, 20 And neglect the Hereafter. 21 On the Day of Judgment some faces will be bright, 22 Waiting for their Lord. 23 and some faces will on that Day be gloomy, 24 Imagining that there will befall them a waiste-breaking calomity. 25 Never so, for when life withdraws into the clavicula, 26 And men say: Where is the wizard (who can save him now)? 27 And the dying one is certain that it is the [time of] separation 28 And one leg will be joined with another: 29 upon that day unto thy Lord shall be the driving. 30

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
