Most Auspicious is He Who created lofty towers in the sky and placed a lamp in it, and the luminous moon. 61 And He it is Who has put the night and the day in succession, for such who desires to remember or desires to show his gratitude. 62 For, [true] servants of the Most Gracious are [only] they who walk gently on earth, and who, whenever the foolish address them, reply with [words of] peace; 63 And they who pass the night prostrating themselves before their Lord and standing. 64 and who pray: "O our Sustainer, avert from us the suffering of hell - for, verily, the suffering caused by it is bound to be a torment dire: 65 "Evil indeed is it as an abode, and as a place to rest in"; 66 And those who, when spending, neither exceed the limits nor act miserly, and stay in moderation between the two. 67 And those who call not unto other god along with Allah and slay not any soul which Allah hath forbidden, save in justification, and commit not fornication. And whosoever shall do this, shall incur the meed. 68 and on the Day of Judgment their torment will be double. They will suffer forever in disgrace. 69 Except one who repents and accepts faith and does good deeds – so Allah will turn their evil deeds into virtues; and Allah is Oft Forgiving, Most Merciful. 70 Those who repent and act righteously have truly returned to God, 71 and those who do not bear false witness, and when they pass by idle talk, pass by with honor 72 Who, when reminded of their Lord's revelations, do not fall for them like the deaf and blind; 73 who say, 'Our Lord, give us refreshment of our wives and seed, and make us a model to the godfearing.' 74 Those shall be rewarded with the highest apartment, because they persevered; and therein they shall be met with a greeting and salutation. 75 Abiding there for ever. Happy is it as abode and station! 76 Say, "What would my Lord care for you, if you do not call on Him. Because you have indeed rejected the truth and His punishment is bound to overtake you. 77
