۞ And We inspired to Moses, "Travel by night with My servants; indeed, you will be pursued." 52 Then Pharaoh sent into the cities summoners, 53 (Saying): "These (Israelites) are but a small band, 54 but they are indeed filled with hatred of us 55 And indeed, we are a cautious society... " 56 So, We expelled them from gardens and springs, 57 And from treasures and nice houses. 58 Thus (were those things taken from them) and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit them. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two parties saw each other, the companions of Musa said: verily we are overtaken. 61 Moses said: "Certainly not. My Lord is with me; He will direct me." 62 Then We inspired to Moses, "Strike with your staff the sea," and it parted, and each portion was like a great towering mountain. 63 And We brought the others close to that place. 64 We delivered Moses and all those who were with him, 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 In this [story] behold, there is a message [unto all men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 67 And verily thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
