And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 And saved them and their people from great distress, 115 And We helped them, so they overcame (their troubles); 116 We gave them the enlightening Book, 117 And We guided them both on the right way. 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients' 126 But they rejected him, and they will certainly be called up (for punishment),- 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 We left him thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among the following generations -- 129 Peace be upon Ilyas! 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 Except an old woman who was among those who lagged behind: 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And indeed you pass over them in the morning. – 137 And at night; will you not then reflect? 138
