Have you seen the one who turned away 33 And gives a little and (then) withholds. 34 Has he the knowledge of the unseen so that he can see? 35 Or is he not informed with what is in the Pages (Scripture) of Musa (Moses), 36 And with Abraham who kept his word: 37 that no soul shall bear the burden of another; 38 and that man shall have nothing but what he has striven for, 39 and that (the result of) his striving shall soon be seen, 40 And only then will he receive his recompense in full; 41 that all things in the end shall return to God; 42 And that it is He who makes [one] laugh and weep 43 and that it is He who makes to die, and that makes to live, 44 That He created pairs, male and female, 45 from an ejected drop of sperm; 46 and that it is for Him to grant the second life, 47 And that He it is Who enriches and gives to hold; 48 And that He is the Lord of the Sirius; 49 That it was He who destroyed the 'Ad of old, 50 And (the tribe of) Thamud He spared not; 51 and before them the nation of Noah, they exceeded in evil and were insolent. 52 And He destroyed the Overthrown Cities (of Sodom and Gomorrah). 53 Then covered them with that which covered them. 54 Which then of thy Lord's benefits wilt thou doubt? 55 This (Muhammad SAW) is a warner (Messenger) of the (series of) warners (Messengers) of old. 56 The Imminent is imminent; 57 No one besides God can rescue a soul from hardship. 58 Do ye then wonder at this recital? 59 And do you laugh instead of weeping, 60 And ye are behaving proudly. 61 So fall you down in prostration to Allah, and worship Him (Alone). ۩ 62
