Indeed for the pious, with their Lord, are Gardens of Serenity. 34 Shall We then treat the People of Faith like the People of Sin? 35 What aileth you? How ill ye judge! 36 Or do you have a scripture in which you learn 37 that tells you to do whatever you want? 38 Or is it that you have a covenant from Us, right up to the Day of Judgement, that you will get all what you claim? 39 Ask them: “Which of them can guarantee that? 40 Or have they other gods? Then let them bring their other gods if they are truthful 41 On the Day when the dreadful calamity will unfold, when people will be summoned to prostrate themselves, and yet they will not be able to prostrate. 42 Their eyes humbled, humiliation will cover them. And they used to be invited to prostration while they were sound. 43 So leave those who deny this Discourse to Me. We shall lead them step by step to (ruin) in a way they will not know. 44 And I will grant them a respite. Verily, My Plan is strong. 45 (Muhammad), do you ask for your preaching any recompense which is too heavy a price for them to pay? 46 Is the unseen within their grasp so that they write it down? 47 So wait patiently for the judgment of your Lord, and be not like the companion of the fish, when he cried while he was in distress. 48 Had not grace from his Lord reached him, he had surely been cast into the wilderness in a plight. 49 But his Lord chose him for His own and made him one of the righteous. 50 When the unbelievers hear this Exhortation, they look at you as though they would knock you off your feet with their (hostile) glances. They say: “Surely he is afflicted with madness”; 51 But it is nothing else than a Reminder to all the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 52
