Nuh (Noah) said: "My Lord! They have disobeyed me, and followed one whose wealth and children give him no increase but only loss. 21 They contrived a plot of great magnitude. 22 They said: “Do not abandon your deities; do not abandon Wadd, nor Suwa, nor Yaghuth, nor Yauq, nor Nasr. 23 And indeed they have led astray many, and do not increase the unjust in aught but error. 24 Because of their sins they were drowned, then were made to enter the Fire, and they found none to help them instead of Allah. 25 And Noah said, "My Lord, do not leave upon the earth from among the disbelievers an inhabitant. 26 If you leave them, they will lead Your creatures astray, and beget but iniquitous and ungrateful offspring. 27 “O my Lord! Forgive me, and my parents, and the believers who are in my house, and all other Muslim men and Muslim women; and do not increase anything for the unjust except ruin.” 28

True are the words of God the Almighty.
