The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir)
56 verses, revealed in Mecca after Unknown Person (Al-Muzzammil) before The Key (Al-Faatehah)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
O thou enveloped! 1 arise and give warning! 2 Thy Lord magnify, 3 And your garments purify! 4 and shun uncleanness, 5 And do not favour others in order to receive more. 6 but unto thy Sustainer turn in patience. 7 When the Horn is blown, 8 That, at that time, shall be a difficult day, 9 It will not be easy for those who deny the truth. 10 Leave Me with him whom I alone have created, 11 And give him vast riches, 12 And sons present by his side. 13 And spread [everything] before him, easing [his life]. 14 and yet, he greedily desires that I give yet more! 15 Not at all! Surely, he has been disobedient to Our verses. 16 Anon I shall afflict him with a fearful woe. 17 Surely he reflected and guessed, 18 And woe to him! How he plotted!- 19 And again perish he! How maliciously he devised! 20 and then he looks [around for new arguments,] 21 and then he frowns and glares, 22 Then he turned back and was haughty; 23 And said, "This is not but magic imitated [from others]. 24 This is naught but the word of a mortal. 25 I will cast him into hell. 26 - Ah, what will convey unto thee what that burning is! - 27 It neither spares, nor releases, 28 scorching the flesh; 29 Over it are Nineteen. 30 And We have not made the wardens of the fire others than angels, and We have not made their number but as a trial for those who disbelieve, that those who have been given the book may be certain and those who believe may increase in faith, and those who have been given the book and the believers may not doubt, and that those in whose hearts is a disease and the unbelievers may say: What does Allah mean by this parable? Thus does Allah make err whom He pleases, and He guides whom He pleases, and none knows the hosts of your Lord but He Himself; and this is naught but a reminder to the mortals. 31

ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
