No! By the moon 32 And by the Night as it retreateth, 33 And by oath of the morning, when it spreads light. 34 Verily it is one of the greatest woes. 35 It is a warning for mankind 36 A warning unto him of you who shall go forward or who chooseth to lag behind. 37 Every soul, for what it has earned, will be retained 38 except the people of the right hand 39 In Gardens; they shall be asking, 40 and will ask of the criminals, 41 [And asking them], "What put you into Saqar?" 42 They will say, "We were not of those who prayed, 43 And did not feed the needy, 44 And plunged into useless things with those who were obstinate, 45 and rejected the Day of Judgment 46 till the Certain came to us.' -- 47 The intercession of the intercessors will be of no benefit to them. 48 What aileth them, therefore, that they are from the admonition turning away? 49 As if they were frightened (wild) donkeys. 50 Fleeing from a lion! 51 Yea, everyone of them claims that he [himself] ought to have been given revelations unfolded! 52 By no means. In fact they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 Nay, verily. Lo! this is an Admonishment. 54 Let any who will, keep it in remembrance! 55 they will only take heed if God so wills: He is the Lord who is worthy to be feared: the Lord of forgiveness. 56
