Nay! By the moon 32 And by the Night as it retreateth, 33 And the dawn when it shineth forth, 34 hell is certainly the greatest calamity. 35 Warn the men. 36 To whoever wills among you to proceed or stay behind. 37 [On the Day of Judgment,] every human being will be held in pledge for whatever [evil] he has wrought 38 Except the people of the right hand, 39 In Gardens; they shall be asking, 40 of those who were lost in sin: 41 What led you into the Scorching Fire? 42 They shall say: We were not of those who prayed; 43 and we did not feed the needy. 44 “And used to dwell on evil matters with those who think evilly.” 45 And rejected the Day of Judgement as a lie 46 “Till death overcame us.” 47 Then there will not profit them intercesion of the interceders. 48 What is the matter with people that they are turning away from this Exhortation, 49 As though they were asses startled. 50 Fleeing from a lion! 51 Rather, every person among them desires that he would be given scriptures spread about. 52 No indeed; the truth is that they have no fear of the Hereafter. 53 but this is truly a reminder. 54 So whosoever will may heed. 55 And what advice will they heed, except if Allah wills? Only He deserves to be feared, and His only is the greatness of forgiving. 56
