(People), is your creation harder for God than that of the heavens, which He created, raised and established 27 High has He reared its vault and formed it in accordance with what it was meant to be; 28 And He darkened its night and extracted its brightness. 29 And the earth! thereafter He stretched it out. 30 And produced therefrom the water thereof and the pasture thereof, 31 And the mountains He set firmly 32 an enjoyment for you and your herds. 33 But when the Great Catastrophe comes, 34 The day when man will call to mind his (whole) endeavour, 35 and Hell will be brought in sight for anyone to see: 36 then he who transgressed 37 and preferred the life of this world, 38 Verily, his abode will be Hell-fire; 39 But unto him who shall have stood in fear of his Sustainer's Presence, and held back his inner self from base desires, 40 Verily the Garden! that shall be his resort. 41 They will question you about the Hour: 'When shall it be' 42 About what! You are one to remind of it. 43 The extent of its knowledge goes to your Lord. 44 Your duty is only to warn him who fears it. 45 On the Day they see it, they will feel as though they had stayed (in the grave) no more than one evening or one morning. 46
