Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ When the heaven shall be cleft, 1 when the stars are scattered, 2 when the oceans are gushed forth, 3 And the sepulchres are overturned, 4 Each soul will know what it had sent ahead and what it had left behind. 5 O man! what has beguiled you from your Lord, the Gracious one, 6 who created you, fashioned you and proportioned you, 7 He moulded you into whatever shape He willed. 8 Rather, you belied the Recompense. 9 Verify there are for you guardians, 10 noble recorders, 11 aware of whatever you do! 12 Verily, the Abrar (pious and righteous) will be in delight (Paradise); 13 And lo! the wicked verily will be in hell; 14 roasting therein on the Day of Doom, 15 And they will not be able to keep away therefrom. 16 And what will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment is? 17 Again, what will make you know what the Day of Recompense is? 18 It is the Day when a soul will not possess for another soul [power to do] a thing; and the command, that Day, is [entirely] with Allah. 19
