The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Hallow thou the name of thine Lord, the Most High, 1 Who hath created and then proportioned, 2 Who hath ordained laws. And granted guidance; 3 And Who bringeth out the (green and luscious) pasture, 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 We shall make you recite (the Qur'an) so that you will not forget it, 6 save what God wills; surely He knows what is spoken aloud and what is hidden. 7 And We will ease you toward ease. 8 So remind, if the reminder should benefit; 9 The admonition will be received by those who fear (Allah): 10 And the most wicked will stay away from it. 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 Prosperous is he who has cleansed himself, 14 And magnifies the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But you prefer the worldly life, 16 even though the life hereafter will be better and will last forever. 17 Verily! This is in the former Scriptures, 18 Writs of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
