The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Praise the name of thy Lord the Most High, 1 Who createth, then disposeth; 2 And Who hath disposed and then guided, 3 Who brought forth the pasture, 4 And then makes it dark stubble. 5 We shall make thee read (O Muhammad) so that thou shalt not forget 6 save what God may will [thee to forget] - for, verily, He [alone] knows all that is open to [man's] perception as well as all that is hidden [from it] 7 We shall take you slowly towards ease. 8 So render good counsel if good counsel will avail. 9 He who fears (Allah) shall heed it, 10 but aloof from it will remain that most hapless wretch 11 and suffer the heat of the great fire 12 wherein he will neither die nor remain alive. 13 He who purifies himself, 14 remember the name of the Lord, and pray to Him. 15 However, (the disbelievers) prefer the worldly life 16 Though the life to come is better and abiding. 17 Surely, this is in the ancient Scrolls, 18 the Scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
