The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the morning brightness 1 and the brooding night! 2 Thy Lord hath not forsaken thee nor doth He hate thee, 3 And surely what comes after is better for you than that which has gone before. 4 And your Lord is going to give you, and you will be satisfied. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give [you] refuge? 6 Did He not find you wandering, and give you guidance? 7 And did He not find you in want, and then enriched you? 8 Therefor the orphan oppress not, 9 And do not rebuke the beggar. 10 And as for the favor of your Lord, do announce (it). 11
