Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

۞ Did We not widen your bosom? 1 And relieve you of the burden – 2 Which weighed down your back? 3 and granted you an exalted reputation? 4 But lo! with hardship goeth ease, 5 Indeed, with hardship [will be] ease. 6 When you are free from (your obligations), strive hard (to worship God) 7 And to thy Lord turn (all) thy attention. 8

God the Almighty always says the truth.
