The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
When the earth is shaken with its appointed tremor. 1 And the earth throws up her burdens (from within), 2 and Man says., 'What ails her?' 3 On that day earth will narrate its news, 4 Because thy Lord will inspire her. 5 On that Day mankind shall issue in scatterings to see their deeds. 6 So. he who has done an atom's weight of good shall see it 7 And whosoever does evil equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. 8
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
