Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
The excessive gathering (of increase and boasting) occupied you (from worshipping and obeying) 1 Until you come to the graves. 2 No indeed; but soon you shall know. 3 Again, yes certainly, you will soon realise! 4 Nay, would that ye knew (now) with a sure knowledge! 5 Verily, You shall see the blazing Fire (Hell)! 6 You would see it with the eye of certainty. 7 Then, on that Day, you shall be asked about the delight (you indulged in, in this world)! 8
God the Almighty always says the truth.
