Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

Perish the hands of AbiLahab, and perish he! 1 No profit to him from all his wealth, and all his gains! 2 He will [enter to] burn in a Fire of [blazing] flame 3 And so will his wife; carrying a bundle of firewood on her head. 4 On her neck shall be a cord of twisted fibre. 5

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
