We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 And saved them and their people from the great distress, 115 We helped them, and they became victorious, 116 And We gave them the divine writ that made [right and wrong] distinct, 117 guided them to the right path, 118 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon on both of them in the latter (generations), 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 Thus do We reward the doers of good 121 They were two of Our believing servants. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 What! do you call upon Ba'l and forsake the best of the creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of yore? 126 But they denied him, so they surely will be haled forth (to the doom) 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 129 Peace be with the followers of Elias. 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 he was among Our believing servants. 132 So also was Lut among those sent (by Us). 133 Wherefore We saved him and his entire family 134 Except an old woman (who was) amongst those who tarried. 135 Then We utterly destroyed the rest of them. 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 And at night; will you not then reflect? 138
