Indeed, it is We who have sent down to you, [O Muhammad], the Qur'an progressively. 23 therefore be patient under the Judgement of your Lord, and do not obey either the sinner or the unbeliever. 24 And remember the Name of your Lord every morning and afternoon [i.e. offering of the Morning (Fajr), Zuhr, and 'Asr prayers]. 25 and in the night prostrate to Him; and exalt Him for a long night. 26 Behold, they [who are unmindful of God] love this fleeting life, and leave behind them [all thought of] a grief-laden Day. 27 It is We Who created them, and We have made them of strong built. And when We will, We can replace them with others like them with a complete replacement. 28 This surely is a reminder: Therefore whosoever desires may take the way to his Lord. 29 Yet ye will not, unless Allah willeth. Lo! Allah is Knower, Wise. 30 He maketh whom He will to enter His mercy, and for evil-doers hath prepared a painful doom. 31
