Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Have you seen him who denies the Recompense? 1 Such is the one who repulses the orphans away, 2 and never encourages the feeding of the destitute. 3 So woe to those who pray 4 but are heedless in their Prayers, 5 Who dissimulate 6 and deny people the articles of common necessity. 7

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
