O Children of Israel! call to mind the (special) favour which I bestowed upon you, and fulfil your covenant with Me as I fulfil My Covenant with you, and fear none but Me. 40 And believe in what I reveal, confirming the revelation which is with you, and be not the first to reject Faith therein, nor sell My Signs for a small price; and fear Me, and Me alone. 41 And do not mix the truth with falsehood, nor purposely conceal the truth. 42 And establish prayer, and give the poor-rate, and bow down with those who bow down. 43 ۞ Do you bid other people to be pious, the while you forget your own selves - and yet you recite the divine writ? Will you not, then, use your reason?! 44 And seek help through patience and prayer, and indeed, it is difficult except for the humbly submissive [to Allah] 45 (They are those) who are certain that they are going to meet their Lord, and that unto Him they are going to return. 46
