Did you not see that We sent devils upon the disbelievers, so they excite them abundantly? 83 Hence, be not in haste [to call down God's punishment] upon them: for We but number the number of their days. 84 and on the Day when We will ceremonially gather the righteous to the Merciful, 85 And will drive the criminals to Hell in thirst 86 On that Day none will have the power to intercede for them except those who received a sanction from the Most Compassionate Lord. 87 And they say, "The Most Merciful has taken [for Himself] a son." 88 Indeed ye have put forth a thing most monstrous! 89 the heavens might well-nigh burst thereat, and the earth break asunder, and the mountains fall down in pieces, 90 That men should ascribe a son to the Most Gracious, 91 It does not become the majesty of the Compassionate God to take to Himself a son: 92 Not one of all [the beings] that are in the heavens or on earth appears before the Most Gracious other than as a servant: 93 He knows their number and has counted each one of them. 94 And everyone of them will come to Him singly on the Day of Judgment. 95 Verily those who believe and do righteous works - anon the Compassionate shall appoint for them affection. 96 (Muhammad), We have given you the Book (the Quran) in your own language so that you could easily give the glad news to the pious ones and warn the quarrelsome ones. 97 And how many a generation before them have We destroyed! Canst thou (Muhammad) see a single man of them, or hear from them the slightest sound? 98
