Say: "O Lord, if I am made to see what has been promised them, 93 then do not place me, Lord, with the wrongdoers." 94 Indeed, We are able to show you that which We promised them. 95 Repel evil with that which is better. We know that which they describe. 96 And say: 'O my Lord, I seek refuge in You from evil suggestions of the satans. 97 And I seek refuge with Thee, my Lord! lest they may be present with me. 98 Until when death overtakes one of them, he says: Send me back, my Lord, send me back; 99 that I have left behind. I am likely to do good." Nay, it is merely a word that he is uttering. There is a barrier behind all of them (who are dead) until the Day when they will be raised up. 100 Then when the Trumpet is blown, there will be no more relationships between them that Day, nor will one ask after another! 101 Therefore the ones whose scales prove heavy – they are the successful. 102 And he whose balances shall be light - these are they who have lost themselves; in Hell they are abiders. 103 the fire will scorch their faces, and they will abide therein with their lips distorted in pain. 104 Were not My messages recited to you and did you not reject them? 105 They will reply, "Lord, our hard-heartedness overcame us and we went astray. 106 Our Lord, remove us from it, and if we were to return [to evil], we would indeed be wrongdoers." 107 He will say: "Be ye driven into it (with ignominy)! And speak ye not to Me! 108 There was a group of my servants among you who always prayed: Lord, forgive us and grant us mercy; You are the best of those who show mercy. 109 “So you took them for a mockery until your mocking at them made you forget My remembrance, and you used to laugh at them!” 110 Now today I have recompensed them for their patient endurance; they are the triumphant.' 111 Then Allah will ask them: "For how many years did you stay on earth?" 112 They will answer: "We have spent there a day, or part of a day; but ask those who [are able to] count [time]" 113 He will say, "You only stayed for a little while, if only you knew. 114 "Do you imagine that We created you without any purpose and that you would not be brought back to Us?" 115 So, exalted be Allah, the True King! There is no god but He, the Lord of the Great Throne. 116 And whoever invokes with Allah another god-- he has no proof of this-- his reckoning is only with his Lord; surely the unbelievers shall not be successful. 117 Say, "Lord, forgive us and have mercy. You are the best of those who show mercy." 118
