When the messengers came to Lot and his family, 61 he said, "You seem to be strangers". 62 They replied, "We have come to you about the matter which the (unbelievers) have rejected. 63 and we are bringing thee the certainty [of its fulfilment]: for, behold, we are speaking the truth indeed. 64 Leave the town with your family sometime during the night. Walk behind them and let no one turn around. Proceed as you are commanded." 65 We informed him that the unbelievers would be utterly destroyed. 66 The people of the town came along, revelling, 67 Said Lot: "These are my guests; do not put me to shame, 68 "But fear Allah, and shame me not." 69 They said, “Had we not forbidden you from meddling in the affairs of anyone?” 70 [Lot] said: "[Take instead] these daughters of mine, if you must do [whatever you intend to do]!" 71 By thy life, they wandered blindly in their dazzlement, 72 Then the mighty Blast caught them at sunrise, 73 We turned the town upside down and rained upon them stones of clay. 74 Herein are really signs for those who discern. 75 This (city) lies on a road that still survives. 76 surely in this there is a sign for those who believe. 77 Certainly the dwellers in the Thicket were evildoers, 78 We afflicted them with punishment. Both people had clear (divine) authority among them. 79

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
