The people of Noah cried lies to the Envoys 105 When their brother Nuh (Noah) said to them: "Will you not fear Allah and obey Him? 106 I am for you an honest Messenger, 107 so fear Allah, and obey me. 108 "And no reward whatever do I ask of you for it: my reward rests with none but the Sustainer of all the worlds. 109 So keep your duty to Allah, and obey me. 110 ۞ They said, “Shall we believe in you, whereas the abject people are with you?” 111 He said, 'What knowledge have I of that they have been doing? 112 Their reckoning rests with none but my Sustainer: if you could but understand [this]! 113 And I am not to drive away the believers. 114 I am nothing but a plain warner." 115 They said: "If thou desist not, O Noah! thou shalt be stoned (to death)." 116 Noah said, "My Lord, my people have rejected me, 117 So open between me and them an opening, and save me and the believers who are with me' 118 We saved him and those who were with him in the laden ship, 119 Then We drowned the rest (disbelievers) thereafter. 120 Verily there is a sign in this, yet many of them do not believe. 121 But, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace 122
