The people of Nuh (Noah) belied the Messengers. 105 Behold, their brother Noah said to them: "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 106 Surely I am a faithful apostle to you; 107 fear God, and obey me. 108 And I ask of you no hire therefor; my hire is but with the Lord of the worlds. 109 "So fear Allah, and obey me." 110 ۞ They said: Shall we put faith in thee, when the lowest (of the people) follow thee? 111 He said: And what knowledge have I of what they may have been doing (in the past)? 112 "Their account is only with my Lord, if you could (but) know. 113 Hence, I shall not drive away [any of] those [who profess to be] believers; 114 I am only a plain warner. 115 They said, "Noah, if you do not desist, you will be stoned." 116 Then Noah said, "Lord, my people have rejected me. 117 Therefore judge Thou between me and them with a (just) judgment, and deliver me and those who are with me of the believers. 118 And We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 And drowned the rest of them. 120 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 121 And thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
