And lo! it is a revelation of the Lord of the Worlds, 192 It has been revealed through the trustworthy Spirit 193 Upon your heart (O Muhammad SAW) that you may be (one) of the warners, 194 (a revelation) in clear Arabic language, 195 (a revelation embodied) in the scriptures of the ancients. 196 Is it not evidence enough for them that [so many] learned men from among the children of Israel have recognized this [as true]? 197 (But such is their adamance) that had We revealed it to one of the non-Arabs and even if he had recited (this clear Arabic discourse) to them 198 they would still not have believed in it. 199 Thus have We inserted disbelief into the hearts of the criminals. 200 They will not believe in it till they behold the painful doom, 201 The torment will strike them suddenly without their knowledge. 202 and then they will say: 'Shall we be respited' 203 Do they wish Us then to hasten the punishment? 204 What thinkest thou? If We give them enjoyment of days for many years, 205 And then what they were promised comes upon them, 206 All that with which they used to enjoy shall not avail them. 207 And We did not destroy any city except that it had warners 208 We have never been unjust to anyone. 209 No evil ones have brought down this (Revelation): 210 for, neither does it suit their ends, nor is it in their power [to impart it to man]: 211 Indeed they are debarred from even hearing it. 212 Therefor invoke not with Allah another god, lest thou be one of the doomed. 213 Warn your nearest kinsmen, 214 and be kind to your believing followers. 215 Then if they disobey you, say: "I am innocent of what you do." 216 Put your trust in the Mighty One, the Merciful, 217 who sees you when you stand 218 And your turning over and over among those who prostrate themselves before Allah. 219 Verily He! He is the Hearer, the Knower. 220 Shall I tell you upon whom the devils descend? 221 They descend on every lying (one who tells lies), sinful person. 222 They incline their ears, and most of them are liars. 223 And as for the poets -- it is the misled who follow them. 224 Do you not see that they wander about bewildered in every valley? 225 And how they say that which they do not? 226 Save those that believe, and do righteous deeds, and remember God oft, and help themselves after being wronged; and those who do wrong shall surely know by what overturning they will be overturned. 227
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
