The unbelievers say: 'When we and our fathers are turned to dust, shall we be brought forth? 67 Assuredly we have been promised this aforetime, we and our fathers. Naught is this but fables of the ancients. 68 Say, "Roam across the earth and observe what was the end of the sinful ones." 69 And grieve thou not for them, nor be in distress because of what they plot (against thee). 70 They ask, "When will this promise be fulfilled, if what you say be true?" 71 Say: "The chastisement whose hastening you have been asking for, maybe a part of it has drawn quite near to you." 72 But verily thy Lord is full of grace to mankind: Yet most of them are ungrateful. 73 And indeed, your Lord knows what their breasts conceal and what they declare. 74 And naught there is hidden in the heaven or the earth but it is in a Manifest Book. 75 Surely this Koran relates to the Children of Israel most of that concerning which they are at variance; 76 It is a guidance and grace for those who believe. 77 Lo! thy Lord will judge between them of His wisdom, and He is the Mighty, the Wise. 78 So you place your trust in God. Certainly you stand on positive truth. 79 Surely you do not make the dead to hear, and you do not make the deaf to hear the call when they go back retreating. 80 Nor do you guide the blind out of their error, nor do you make any to hear, except those who believe in Our verses and are Muslims. 81 ۞ When the Word falls on them, We shall bring forth for them out of the earth a beast that shall speak unto them: 'Mankind had no faith in Our signs.' 82
