Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
YA SIN. 1 By the Wise Koran, 2 verily, thou art indeed one of God's message-bearers, 3 On a right way. 4 It is a Revelation sent down by (Him), the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 5 That thou mayst warn a folk whose fathers were not warned, so they are heedless. 6 Already the word has come into effect upon most of them, so they do not believe. 7 Verily! We have put on their necks iron collars reaching to chins, so that their heads are forced up. 8 And We have put before them a barrier and behind them a barrier and covered them, so they do not see. 9 It makes no difference to them whether you warn them or do not warn them: they will not believe. 10 You can warn only those who would follow the Reminder and fear the Gracious God, unseen. Give them the good news of forgiveness and a noble reward. 11 Surely We give life to the dead, and We write down what they have sent before and their footprints, and We have recorded everything in a clear writing. 12
