Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
YaSeen. 1 By oath of the wise Qur’an. 2 Indeed you, [O Muhammad], are from among the messengers, 3 On a straight path, 4 the sending down of the All-mighty, the All-wise, 5 so that you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned, and so were heedless. 6 Indeed, the word [of God's condemnation] is bound to come true against most of them: for they will not believe. 7 We have put fetters around their necks which reach up to their chins so that they are standing with their heads upright, 8 and We have put a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and have covered them up, so they are unable to see. 9 Whether thou warn them or thou warn them not, it is alike for them, for they believe not. 10 You only warn he who follows the Remembrance and fears the Merciful in the Unseen. Give to him glad tidings of forgiveness and a generous wage. 11 Verily, We shall indeed bring the dead back to life; and We shall record whatever [deeds] they have sent ahead, and the traces [of good and evil] which they have left behind: for of all things do We take account in a record clear. 12
