The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
CONSIDER these [messages] ranged in serried ranks, 1 and restraining [from evil] by a call to restraint, 2 and those who recite Our revelations, 3 Verily your God is One. 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth, and of what between them is Lord of the Easts. 5 Lo! We have adorned the lowest heaven with an ornament, the planets; 6 and guarded it against all rebellious devils: 7 They cannot listen to the higher group (angels) for they are pelted from every side. 8 To make them flee, and for them is a never-ending punishment. 9 but if anyone does succeed in snatching a glimpse [of such knowledge,] he is [henceforth] pursued by a piercing flame. 10 Then ask them whether they are stronger in creation or those (others) whom We have created. Surely We created them of firm clay. 11 No, you marvel, while they scoff. 12 And when they are admonished, they receive not admonition. 13 When they see a sign, they laugh at it, 14 saying, "This is plain sorcery!" 15 “When we are dead and have turned into dust and bones, will we certainly be raised again?” 16 Will our forefathers also be brought to life again?" 17 Say: 'Yes, but worthless' 18 For it is only a single scaring, then behold, they are watching 19 They will say, "Woe to us! This is the Day of Reckoning." 20 [It will be said], "This is the Day of Judgement which you have been denying." 21
