And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron. 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 Peace be on Moses and Aaron. 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 They were among Our believing worshipers. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not be mindful of God? 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 But they denied him [Iliyas (Elias)], so they will certainly be brought forth (to the punishment), 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 We perpetuated his praise in the later generations. 129 "Peace upon Elias." 130 It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good: 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And indeed Lut is one of the Noble Messengers. 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 except for an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 And indeed you pass over them in the morning. – 137 and at night. Will you then not understand? 138
