And he who believed said: O my people! follow me, I shall guide you to the path of rectitude, 38 O My people! this life of the world is but a passing enjoyment, and verily the Hereafter! That is the Abode of rest. 39 Whoever commits evil deeds will be recompensed to the same degree. The righteously striving believer, male or female, will enter Paradise wherein they will receive their sustenance without any account being kept. 40 ۞ My people, "How strange is it that I invite you to salvation when you invite me to the fire. 41 you call me to deny Allah and to associate with Him as His partners those regarding whom I have no knowledge (that they are Allah's partners in His Divinity), whereas I call you to the Most Mighty, the Most Forgiving? 42 No doubt that what you call me to has no call heard, in this world or in the world to come, that to God we return, and that the prodigal are the inhabitants of the Fire. 43 "And you will remember what I am telling you, and my affair I leave it to Allah. Verily, Allah is the All-Seer of (His) slaves." 44 And God preserved him from the evil of their scheming, whereas suffering vile was to encompass Pharaoh's folk: 45 The Fire; they are exposed to it, morning and afternoon, and on the Day when the Hour will be established (it will be said to the angels): "Cause Fir'aun's (Pharaoh) people to enter the severest torment!" 46 AND LO! They [who in life were wont to deny the truth] will contend with one another in the fire [of the hereafter]; and then the weak will say unto those who had gloried in their arrogance, "Behold, we were but your followers: can you, then, relieve us of some [of our] share of this fire?" 47 Those who had been arrogant will say, "Indeed, all [of us] are in it. Indeed, Allah has judged between the servants." 48 And those in the Fire say unto the guards of hell: Entreat your Lord that He relieve us of a day of the torment. 49 They will say: came there not your apostles unto you with evidences? They will say: Yea? They will say: supplicate then yourselves. And supplication of the infidels will be but in wandering. 50
