The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the sky, (displaying) the Zodiacal Signs; 1 And by oath of the Promised Day. 2 And the witness and the witnessed, 3 THEY DESTROY [but] themselves, they who would ready a pit 4 Fire supplied (abundantly) with fuel, 5 when they were seated over it 6 and were witnessing what they did to the believers. 7 They had nothing against them, except that they believed in Allah, the All-Mighty, Worthy of all Praise! 8 Whose kingdom spreads over the heavens and the earth. God is witness over everything. 9 Surely (as for) those who persecute the believing men and the believing women, then do not repent, they shall have the chastisement of hell, and they shall have the chastisement of burning. 10 Those who believe, and do righteous deeds, for them await gardens underneath which rivers flow; that is the great triumph. 11 The grip of your Lord is indeed severe, 12 Lo! He it is Who produceth, then reproduceth, 13 and He is the Ever Forgiving, the Most Loving 14 the Owner of the Throne, the Glorious One, 15 The Doer of whatever He wants. 16 Hath there come unto thee the story of the hosts 17 (The armies of) Firaun and the tribe of Thamud. 18 Nay! The disbelievers (persisted) in denying (Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) and his Message of Islamic Monotheism). 19 Allah encompasses them all from behind. 20 In fact it (what they deny) is the Noble Qur’an. 21 [Inscribed] in a Preserved Slate. 22
