We shall make satan the companion of whoever ignores the remembrance of the Beneficent God. 36 And most surely they turn them away from the path, and they think that they are guided aright: 37 till, when he comes to Us, he says, 'Would there had been between me and thee the distance of the two Easts!' An evil comrade! 38 (He will then be told): “Today it will not benefit you the least that after your wrong-doing you and your satans now share the chastisement.” 39 So will you make the deaf listen or show the path to the blind, and to those who are in open error? (The disbelievers whose hearts are sealed, are deaf and blind to the truth). 40 And if We take thee away, We shall surely take vengeance on them. 41 Or (if) We show thee that wherewith We threaten them; for lo! We have complete command of them. 42 So adhere to that which is revealed to you. Indeed, you are on a straight path. 43 And verily, this (the Quran) is indeed a Reminder for you (O Muhammad SAW) and your people (Quraish people, or your followers), and you will be questioned (about it). 44 And ask (O Muhammad SAW) those of Our Messengers whom We sent before you: "Did We ever appoint aliha (gods) to be worshipped besides the Most Beneficent (Allah)?" 45
