And assuredly We delivered the Children of Isra'il from an ignominous torment 30 From Fir'aun (Pharaoh); Verily! He was arrogant and was of the Musrifun (those who transgress beyond bound in spending and other things and commit great sins). 31 And We chose them aforetime above the nations, knowingly, 32 And We gave them of signs that in which there was a clear trial. 33 Yet these say: 34 "After we die, we shall never be raised to life again. 35 Bring back to life our fathers if what you say is true". 36 Are they, then, better than the people of Tubba and those before them, whom We destroyed because they were truly lost in [the same] sin? 37 And We created not the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them, in play. 38 We created them in nothing else except the truth. But most do not know. 39 Assuredly the Day of Decision is the term for all of them, 40 the day a master shall avail nothing a client, and they shall not be helped, 41 Apart from those to whom God is kind. He is all-mighty and all-merciful. 42
