The tree of Zaqqum 43 Is food for the sinful. 44 Like dregs of oil, it will boil in their bellies 45 As does boiling water. 46 [It will be commanded], "Seize him and drag him into the midst of the Hellfire, 47 then pour boiling water over his head as chastisement. 48 They will be told, "Suffer the torment. You had thought yourselves to be majestic and honorable. 49 This is what you doubted?" 50 Verily the God-fearing shall be in a secure place 51 In gardens and springs; 52 They will be dressed in fine silk and embroidery, facing one another (on thrones). 53 Even so; and We shall espouse them to wide-eyed houris, 54 therein calling for every fruit, secure. 55 They will never taste death therein except the first death (of this world), and He will save them from the torment of the blazing Fire, 56 as an act of grace. That will be the supreme triumph. 57 Now We have made it easy by thy tongue, that haply they may remember. 58 Wait thou then; verily they also are waiting. 59
