The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ When the inevitable event comes, 1 There is about its happening no lie. 2 abasing [some,] exalting [others]! 3 when the earth shall be rocked 4 And the mountains will be crushed, blown to bits. 5 So that they become a scattered dust, 6 And you shall be three sorts. 7 So those on the right – how (fortunate) are those on the right! 8 And the People on the Left: and how miserable will be the People on the Left! 9 The third to the fore shall be the foremost. 10 Who will be honoured 11 In gardens of delight; 12 A throng of the ancients, 13 And a few from among the latter. 14 On lined couches, 15 reclining on them, arrayed face to face; 16 There wait on them immortal youths 17 with goblets, and ewers, and a cup from a spring 18 No headache will they have therefrom, nor will they be intoxicated - 19 and such fruits as they shall choose, 20 and with the flesh of any fowl that they may desire to eat; 21 And [with them will be their] companions pure, most beautiful of eye, 22 The likenesses of pearls well-protected, 23 [And this will be] a reward for what they did [in life]. 24 They will not hear therein ill speech or commission of sin - 25 only the saying 'Peace, Peace!' 26 NOW AS FOR those who have attained to righteousness - what of those who have attained to righteousness? 27 (will be) among thornless Lote trees. 28 And clustered plantains, 29 In shade long-extended, 30 and outpoured waters, 31 and abundant fruit, 32 Whose season is not limited, and their supply will not be cut off, 33 And raised couches. 34 We have formed them in a distinctive fashion, 35 Then We have made them virgins, 36 chaste, loving companions of the same age 37 like of age for the Companions of the Right. 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
