▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ No! I swear by the fallings of the stars 75 and, behold, this is indeed a most solemn affirmation, if you but knew it! 76 it is surely a noble Koran 77 in a hidden Book 78 none but the purified shall touch, 79 (This Quran) is a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 80 What, do you hold this discourse in disdain, 81 Would you reject the sustenance that you receive rather than give thanks? 82 Then how is it that when the (dying) breath is withdrawn into the throat (and rattles), 83 and that hour you are watching 84 - And We are nearer unto him than ye are, but ye see not - 85 Then why do you not, if you are not to be recompensed, 86 That you send it (not) back-- if you are truthful? 87 And if the deceased was of those brought near to Allah, 88 (There is for him) rest and provision, and a Garden of delights (Paradise). 89 And if he is one of the People on the Right, 90 Then (the greeting) "Peace be unto thee" from those on the right hand. 91 But if he is of the rejecters, the erring, 92 He shall have an entertainment of boiling water, 93 And burning in Hellfire 94 Verily, this is indeed the truth of truths! 95 So celebrate with praises the name of thy Lord, the Supreme. 96
