Incontestable (Al-Haaqqah)
52 verses, revealed in Mecca after Kingship (Al-Mulk) before The Heights (Al-Ma'aarej)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ OH, THE LAYING-BARE of the truth! 1 What is the concrete reality? 2 Would that you knew (in detail) what the Inevitable is! 3 The tribes of Thamud and 'Aad belied the Striking Day. 4 Then as to Samood, they were destroyed by an excessively severe punishment. 5 And as to Ad, they were destroyed by a roaring, violent blast. 6 Which He sent to assail them for seven nights and eight days running. You should have seen the people prostrate like the decayed trunks of date-palm trees. 7 Do you then see of them one remaining? 8 The Pharaoh, those who lived before him and the people of the Subverted Cities all persisted in doing evil. 9 And they disobeyed the messenger of their Lord, therefor did He grip them with a tightening grip. 10 [And] behold: when the waters [of Noah's flood] burst beyond all limits, it was We who caused you to be borne [to safety] in that floating ark, 11 In order to make it a warning for you, and that the ear retentive may preserve it. 12 And when the trumpet is blown with a single blast, 13 and the earth and the mountains are carried aloft and are crushed to bits at one stroke, 14 On that Day will come what is to come. 15 and the sky will be rent asunder - for, frail will it have become on that Day; 16 On its fringes will be angels, eight of them, bearing their Lord's throne aloft. 17 On that day you shall be exposed, not one secret of yours concealed. 18 On that Day, he whose Record is given to him in his right hand will say: “Lo! Read my Record! 19 “I was certain that I will confront my account.” 20 So he shall be in a pleasing life 21 in a lofty Garden 22 its fruits are near. 23 (It will be said): 'Eat and drink with a good appetite because of what you did in days long passed' 24 And as for him who is given his book in his left hand he shall say: O would that my book had never been given me: 25 Nor that I knew my reckoning! 26 O would that it had made an end (of me): 27 My riches have availed me not; 28 "My power and arguments (to defend myself) have gone from me!" 29 (The stern command will say): "Seize ye him, and bind ye him, 30 Then throw him in the blazing Fire. 31 Fasten a chain to them - seventy cubits long - 32 Lo! He used not to believe in Allah the Tremendous, 33 And urged not on the feeding of the wretched. 34 On this day, they will have no friends 35 and the only food he has is filth 36 which no one will eat except the sinners. 37

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
