By the moon, 32 And by the Night as it retreateth, 33 By the dawn when it lightens! 34 it is one of the greatest trials, 35 a warning to humans, 36 to everyone of you, whether he chooses to come forward or to hang back! 37 Every soul will be in captivity for its deeds 38 save the People of the Right Hand 39 [Who will be] in gardens, questioning each other 40 about the guilty ones: 41 "what led you into hell?" 42 They will answer: We were not of those who prayed 43 Nor did we used to feed the poor. 44 We used to wade (in vain dispute) with (all) waders, 45 and we gave the lie to the Day of Judgement 46 until there came to us the certainty. 47 So the intercession of intercessors shall not avail them. 48 What is the matter with them that they turn away from this Reminder, 49 As if they were affrighted asses, 50 fleeing -- before a lion? 51 No indeed; each one of them desires that open letters be sent to each of them. 52 Nay, verily. They fear not the Hereafter. 53 Nay, verily, this (Quran) is an admonition, 54 Then whoever wills will remember it. 55 But they will not benefit from it unless Allah Himself so wills. He is worthy to be feared; and He is worthy to forgive (those that fear Him). 56
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
