No! By the moon 32 Consider the night when it departs, 33 and the morn when it dawns! 34 it is one of the greatest trials, 35 A warning unto humankind 36 a warning to everyone of you whether he would like to come forward or lag behind. 37 Every soul will be a pledge for that which it hath earned, 38 Except those of the right hand 39 In Gardens; they shall be asking, 40 and will ask of the criminals, 41 What has brought you into hell? 42 They will answer: We were not of those who prayed 43 "Nor were we of those who fed the indigent; 44 We plunged in with the plungers 45 and we gave the lie to the Day of Judgement 46 until death approached us". 47 Then there will not profit them intercesion of the interceders. 48 Then what is wrong with them (i.e. the disbelievers) that they turn away from (receiving) admonition? 49 As if they were alarmed donkeys 50 fleeing from a lion? 51 Nay, but everyone of them desireth that he should be given open pages (from Allah). 52 No indeed; the truth is that they have no fear of the Hereafter. 53 Nay, verily, this is an admonition 54 So, whoever wills may benefit from it. 55 And they will not receive admonition unless Allah wills; He (Allah) is the One, deserving that mankind should be afraid of, and should be dutiful to Him, and should not take any Ilah (God) along with Him, and He is the One Who forgives (sins). 56
