Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
40 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah) before The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ No! I swear by the Day of Resurrection. 1 And by oath of the soul that reproaches itself. 2 Does man think that We cannot assemble his bones? 3 Yea! WE are Able to put together evenly his finger-tips. 4 Yet man is sceptical of what is right before him. 5 He questions: "When is the Day of Resurrection?" 6 When the sight is dazed, 7 The moon eclipsed, 8 And the sun and moon are conjoined, 9 On that day man will cry: Whither to flee! 10 But there is nowhere to take refuge: 11 Unto your Lord (Alone) will be the place of rest that Day. 12 Man will be apprised, on that Day, of what he has done and what he has left undone: 13 Nay, man will be evidence against himself, 14 even though he may veil himself in excuses. 15 [Prophet], do not move your tongue too fast in your attempt to learn this revelation: 16 It is for Us to collect it and to promulgate it: 17 Therefore when We have recited it, follow its recitation. 18 Then indeed, to explain its details to you is upon Us. 19 Human beings certainly do not want to pay much attention to the Quran. In fact, they love the worldly life 20 And leave alone the Hereafter. 21 Countenances on that Day shall be resplendent, 22 Looking towards their Lord; 23 Others will be despondent, 24 Imagining that there will befall them a waiste-breaking calomity. 25 Nay; when a man's soul reaches up to the throat, 26 And there will be a cry, "Who is a magician (to restore him)?" 27 and he knows that it is the time of parting; 28 And anguish will be heaped upon anguish: 29 That Day the Drive will be (all) to thy Lord! 30

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
