In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the winds sent forth with beneficence. 1 And by the winds that blow violently, 2 And by the winds that scatter clouds and rain; 3 And those that distinguish distinctly, 4 And those that bring down the Reminder 5 As justification or warning, 6 What is promised will surely come to pass. 7 So when the stars are put out, 8 And when the heaven is cloven asunder. 9 And when the mountains are blown away, 10 And when the messengers are brought unto their time appointed - 11 To what day is the doom fixed? 12 For the Day of sorting out (the men of Paradise from the men destined for Hell). 13 And what can make you know what is the Day of Judgement? 14 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 15 Have We not destroyed the earlier generations? 16 And We shall let them be followed by those of later times: 17 thus do We deal with the culprits. 18 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 19 Did We not create you from a weak water, 20 and place it in a secure place 21 till a known term decreed? 22 We determined, how excellent a Determiner are We! 23 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 24 Have We not made the earth (as a place) to draw together. 25 Both for the living and the dead, 26 And We placed therein lofty, firmly set mountains and have given you to drink sweet water. 27 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 28 Proceed to that (the Day of Judgment) which you have rejected. 29 Proceed to a shadow rising in three columns: 30 “Which neither gives shade, nor saves from the flame.” 31 Surely it sends up sparks like palaces, 32 and yellow camels. 33 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 34 On that Day they will be speechless, 35 Nor are they suffered to put forth excuses. 36 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 37 That will be a Day of Sorting out! We shall gather you together and those before (you)! 38 If you have any plans, use them. 39 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 40

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
